Bus Driver

$17.50 per hour

Full Time and Part Time available

Monday-Friday Split: 6:30am-10:30am/ 1:30pm-5:30pm

STARKEY, INC. is seeking a reliable and compassionate Bus Driver to provide safe, courteous, and dependable transportation for individuals receiving Starkey services throughout the community. This role is essential in supporting independence, accessibility, and quality of life for the people we serve.
 
What You'll Do
  • Safely transport individuals to and from Starkey programs and community destinations
  • Ensure passengers' comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
  • Operate vehicles in accordance with DOT and Starkey safety standards
  • Communicate respectfully with passengers, staff, and the public
  • Complete required documentation and pre-/post-trip inspections

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid Kansas driver's license held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) endorsement
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of driving experience
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Training Requirement
  • Availability for 2–4 weeks of PAID training
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
