Area Operations Manager – Nightly Doorstep Trash Collection

Compensation: $75,000 Annual OTE (On-Target Earnings) Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 | Bi-Weekly Pay

Community Concierge Services (CCS) provides doorstep waste and recycling pickup for apartment communities nationwide. Every evening, our team of 700+ employees serves more than 160,000 apartment units coast to coast. We're scaling fast, and we reward reliability and results - team members who perform earn advancement, expanded responsibility, and additional shifts.

The Role

You'll own doorstep trash collection operations in your market from top to bottom. That includes launching new communities, recruiting and developing your crew, meeting with clients face-to-face, and getting out in the field with your team. This job is equal parts office leadership and boots-on-the-ground work - you'll need to roll up your sleeves and set the pace from the front, every single day.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Run nightly operations across multiple apartment communities with flawless execution
  • Recruit and train porters to meet CCS standards
  • Perform employee audits and on-site quality inspections
  • Develop lasting, trusted relationships with property managers and clients
  • Own scheduling and route coverage - no missed pickups, period
  • Coordinate employee logistics: safety gear, reporting apps, and ADP payroll forms
  • Jump on operational issues in real time, from equipment breakdowns to staffing gaps
  • Keep nightly reports, payroll, employee records, and compliance documentation up to date
  • Support new community launches, including resident orientations and equipment distribution

Schedule & Workload
  • Nights and weekends required - routes operate 7 days a week
  • Peak hours run 7 PM–2 AM daily
  • Blend of field work and administrative duties, with daytime flexibility based on business needs
  • Occasional travel to nearby markets to support operations. This may include Charleston SC.
  • Oversee all of our Savannah market which includes - Savannah metro, Beaufort SC, and Bluffton SC.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $70,000/year (bi-weekly pay)
