Job Description

Title: Qlik Sense Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Type: Fulltime

Interview: Phone and Skype

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

Advanced experience with Qlik product environment (including Qlik sense) or equivalent data analysis/discovery/visualization toolsets (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)

Section access, Data loading and visualization

Experience in the following Qlik areas desirable:

Qlik (QIX) engine build, optimization and usage strategy

Caching strategies

Configuration settings

Configure multi-node Qlik Sense environment

Load balancing, failover and synchronization

Strategies for effective data load, including incremental data load and data partitioning

Roles and responsibility

Leads the analysis, design, and build effort for Qlik Sense data discovery and visualizations.

Designs and creates dashboards and reports that meet ongoing business requirements.

Create quick turn-around, ad hoc analyses for high priority internal clients

Develops visualization tools to manipulate complex datasets in a simple and intuitive format.

Responsible for reporting across all functions, including grid reports, data visualizations and data discovery.

Responsible for defining and driving common UI, navigation and an intuitive user experience.

Drives consistent data continuity & common KPIs.

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills

Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver

Advanced PL/SQL Experience

Ability to work with existing system teams to integrate data from source systems and rationalize the data into a common warehouse model

Common sense and logical approach to problem solving and prioritization; able to consider and weigh the pros and cons of a variety of approaches

Superb organizational skills, diligence, multi-tasking, professionalism, and attention to detail

Total experience in required skill (years)

6+ years' experience using data warehouse, business intelligence, and data analytics products.

5+ years' experience with two or more database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, SQL Server, etc.)
