Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Location: 6564 170 AVE NW EDMONTON
Type: Full Time

Monday thru Friday 9:00 Am to 5:00 Pm

Position Overview:
Desjardins Agent is seeking a hard working,ethical, problem solver with an above average memory and a true love of dealing with the public. You must be an energetic person who is interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. If you are a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, then this is your opportunity for a rewarding career. We are not a high pressure call center enviroment we are a small insurance office and we are looking for the right person to match our office values. The assessment portion of the application must be completed for us to review your application.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty license (General Level 1 or 2)
  • Life/Accident and Sickness License asset or must obtain

Salary Range

$45000 - $60000 / year depending on Insurance experience.
