This role requires deep technical expertise in industrial communication protocols, data pipelines, and system interoperability, as well as strong project leadership and change management skills to drive adoption and ensure successful deployment of digital manufacturing solutions.
You will work with technologies such as Kepware OPC servers, Ignition SCADA, Siemens Opcenter MES, ZNT-PAC, Maximo CMMS, AVEVA PI historian, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Databricks, and message bus architectures (AMQP) to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
Technical Integration
  • Design and implement system integrations between OT platforms and IT systems using OPC UA, AMQP-based message buses, REST APIs, SQL, and custom connectors.
  • Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA integrations for real-time visualization and control.
  • Integrate MES (Siemens Opcenter, ZNT-PAC) with upstream/downstream systems for production execution and traceability.

Project Leadership & Change Management
  • Lead integration projects from requirements gathering through deployment, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, OT, manufacturing, quality, and data engineering) to align on objectives and deliverables.
  • Drive change management activities, including communication plans, training, and user adoption strategies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing systems integration or OT/IT convergence.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Ignition SCADA configuration and scripting (Python/Java-based).
    • MES platforms (Siemens Opcenter, ZNT-PAC) integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, and ETL processes for data integration.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, REST APIs).

Desired Qualifications
  • Software development experience in Python, Java, or .NET for custom integrations.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deployment.
  • Familiarity with ISA-95, ISA-88, and Industry 4.0 standards.
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows using manufacturing data.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with change management frameworks is a plus.

Working Conditions
  • Travel to manufacturing sites (domestic/international) for discovery, deployment, and support.
    • Must be available for significant travel, primarily domestic, to multiple locations to support business needs. International travel could be required as well.
  • Flexibility to support cutovers, validations, or critical events outside standard hours.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $99,693.00 - $137,078.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
