  • Assist the team with day-to-day network engineering tasks, providing operational support for WAN, LAN, WiFi, and data center technologies
  • Oversee and maintain network switches (Aruba), routers (Juniper), and next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto Networks)
  • Manage the high-density wireless network infrastructure (Aruba APs, ClearPass, Mobility, Airwave) within our arenas, ensuring seamless performance for fans, media, and operations.
  • Drive the strategy for IT network infrastructure, collaborating with the Director and other IT managers to evaluate, design, and implement new technologies with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Partner with the IT Security team to identify, evaluate, and implement robust network security controls, ensuring continuous compliance with security policies and industry best practices
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network technical issues; monitor network health and track, document, and approve network changes in line with IT change management protocols
  • Develop and enforce governance, policies, and procedures related to IT networking; ensure detailed, up-to-date LAN, WAN, and WiFi documentation, including network diagrams and configuration records
  • Collaborate with network vendors and service providers to manage relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery; oversee structured network cabling standards in data centers and IDFs

  • Experience supporting high-density network environments in retail, large entertainment venues, or stadiums is a plus
  • Advanced certifications such as Aruba (ACSP, ACMA, HPE-CA, HPE-S), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or Palo Alto (PCNSE/PAN-NGFE) are highly desirable; CompTIA Network+ or equivalents are a plus
  • Deep proficiency in Layer 2 technologies (Spanning Tree, 802.1Q, Dynamic/Private VLANs) and Layer 3 routing protocols
  • Extensive experience with WiFi/WLAN architecture, high-density wireless environments, Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (ClearPass preferred), and next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
  • Experience integrating network infrastructure with cloud technologies (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) and deploying robust VPN solutions (IPSec tunnels).
  • Hands-on experience managing DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions (such as Infoblox or EfficientIP) within high-performance, high-availability network architectures to guarantee maximum uptime and optimal service delivery
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead network deployments from conception to completion
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management skills and communications skills (verbal and written)
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability; ability to manage competing priorities under minimal supervision
