• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients entering the program, establishing personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs and challenges.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help clients regain control over their lives and overcome obstacles related to addiction and mental health.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice in all client interactions and documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to devise integrated care strategies, maximizing the contributions of each professional to enhance client outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to reflect on best practices, share insights, and continuously improve the quality of therapeutic interventions.

• Empower clients and their families through educational programs about mental health disorders and recovery resources, equipping them with tools to support the healing process.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the fields of social work and addiction treatment, actively integrating new knowledge into your practice for improved client care.

As an LCSW at our Detox Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various levels of addiction and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your role will involve not only addressing individual needs but also fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and resilience.

• A master's degree in social work from an accredited institution, providing a solid theoretical foundation for clinical practice.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia, affirming your competence and compliance with state regulations.

• Strong knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy approaches which enables you to tailor interventions effectively for each client's unique circumstances.

• Exceptional communication skills to cultivate deep therapeutic alliances and facilitate collaborative treatment processes with both clients and professional colleagues.

• Analytical thinking and conflict-resolution abilities are crucial for navigating complex client cases and achieving successful treatment outcomes.
