  • Evaluate and resolve structural discrepancies affecting:

    • Wing structures

    • Fuselage structures

    • Empennage structures

    • Other primary and secondary aircraft components

  • Design and validate repairs using equivalent strength and stiffness methodologies while meeting demanding production schedules.

  • Make authoritative technical recommendations that significantly influence engineering and manufacturing activities.

  • Develop improved methods, standards, and procedures that optimize product quality, cost, and schedule performance.

  • Lead investigations into complex structural issues where established engineering precedents may not exist.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Production Operations.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to advancements in structural engineering practices.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
