Assigned to Project Management and Engineering responsibilities across our newest and most strategic Aerospace Customers. These customers represent a strategic effort to focus on Aerospace customers and the unique requirements that their machining needs represent.
  • Primary focus will be winning quotes and proposals with these customers, as well as managing first run parts ("Book it, then Cook it" then transition it to operations production). We expect execution on these items will assist in winning more work with the customer.
  • Lead cross functional teams if needed to gather RFQ data (material pricing, coatings and other out processes) for critical aerospace customers.
  • Manage periodized list of critical first run aerospace parts and interface with Operations, Procurement and Engineering to drive accountability.
  • Identify, decipher and flow down unique aerospace customers and regulatory requirements for each order housed in Purchase Orders, Drawings and Parts Lists (contract Review) for our most critical aerospace customers.
  • Interface with customers to seek out assistance and help in RFQ and Manufacturing, as well as instill confidence while being the technical point of contact, as well as provider of project and delivery updates.
  • Finally, AS9100 compliant procedures exist within Steelcrest for the processes and tasks described above. This role will complete the responsibilities above and drive a cross functional team with prioritization and bias action, however, do it within these existing processes.

Success Metrics:
โ€ข RFQ Response Speed (3-4 Days, faster for simpler jobs)
