The Aerospace Engineer will assist with repair development and approval. The Aerospace Engineer will support technical service requirements, tooling and procedures for MRAS MRO work scopes. The Aerospace Engineer will work directly with MRO Technicians in support of their tooling and documentation needs. The MRO Engineer will work to keep the MRO compliant to the FAR 145 regulations.

What YOU will do:

As the Aerospace Engineer, you will:

Work with the internal team, partners and suppliers to resolve issues and support our customers

Support investigations for any issues related to MRAS repairs

Assist with Ground Support equipment development and product maintenance planning services which may include work away from station MRO work

Assist the internal team to maintain project cost & schedule requirements

Support the business as needed and as issues arise during inhouse or work away from station MRO work

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, from an accredited college or university, or A/P License, or equivalent Aviation MRO or Aviation Manufacturing work experience is required.
  • 2+ years of Aerospace industry experience is required.
  • This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A 'U.S. Person,' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

Desired Characteristics

3+ years of experience in aviation related engineering (FAR 43 / FAR 145) and/or technical customer support experience is preferred

Aviation MRO Experience is preferred

Salary for this role: $64,478.32 to $95,889.42 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
