Position Overview

Acra Behavioral Health & Consulting is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professionals, including Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LICSW), to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and structured interviews to gather comprehensive data.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, employing an array of evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide ongoing virtual therapy sessions that focus on achieving client-defined goals while adjusting treatment modalities based on their progress and feedback.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies, to create an individualized approach for each client.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality care and facilitating ongoing treatment evaluation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, representing a broad spectrum of age groups, cultural identities, and mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor with Acra, you will work with individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, among others. By leveraging virtual platforms, we ensure that clients can access tailored support regardless of geographical barriers, creating opportunities for meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and effective therapeutic alliances with clients in a virtual environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ethical practices and ability to maintain confidentiality throughout the client interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple client caseloads and documentation effectively while working remotely.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing teletherapy services and familiarity with digital therapeutic tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to adapt treatment modalities to suit clients' diverse needs.
  • Prior experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or older adults, is a plus.
