Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. This position requires Monday through Friday availability from 8am to 4:30pm. This is an in-office position. The position offers a full benefits package, paid vacation, time-banking program and time-roll program. Salary is DOE.

Interested candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years experience with payroll processing and client bookkeeping.

Duties include:

-perform monthly bookkeeping for clients utilizing Quickbooks and other accounting software programs

-Reconcile bank/credit card statements along with individual check details

-Complete payroll tax filing along with state, county/city sales tax

-Prepare monthly accounts payable for client

-Balance employee hours, run payroll, print checks, direct deposit, run reports and file for clients

-Prepare 1099s and W-2 annually for clients

-Train and provide client assistance on Quickbook online and desktop versions

-Conduct monthly client site visits

-Prepare annual state, county and city filings as needed
