Methodist Rehabilitationย is seeking an experienced and motivated Physiciansโ€™ Billing Managerย to oversee physician accounts receivable operations and support efficient, accurate billing processes across physician clinics.

The Physician Billing Manager is responsible for managing employees and overseeing all functions related to employed physiciansโ€™ accounts receivable (A/R). This includes claims submission, cash posting, account follow-up, and auditing registration and coding practices within physician clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise billing office staff and oversee daily operations
  • Manage physician accounts receivable processes, including:
    • Medical claims filing
    • Insurance follow-up
    • Cash posting
    • A/R resolution
  • Review and audit registration and coding practices
  • Educate physicians and clinic front office staff on billing and documentation processes
  • Support compliance and process improvement initiatives
  • Perform employee management and human resources-related functions
  • Some college coursework required
  • Minimum 5โ€“7 years of physician claims billing experience required
  • Minimum 2โ€“3 years of supervisory or management experience required
Preferred
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field
  • Medical coding knowledge
  • Experience with ModMed and/or Meditech EMR systems
