What is a full throttle?

Full Throttle jobs generally refer to positions within Full Throttle, a brand best known for its energy drinks, or roles related to high-energy, fast-paced environments. These jobs can range from marketing and sales positions to event coordinators and brand ambassadors. Employees may be involved in promoting the brand, organizing events, or developing marketing strategies. Full Throttle jobs typically require individuals who are energetic, outgoing, and able to thrive in dynamic settings.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full throttle, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Stack Developer, you need a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end programming languages, web frameworks, and database management, often supported by a degree in computer science or related experience. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, cloud platforms, and popular frameworks like React or Node.js is typically required, along with relevant certifications. Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and effective communication help you collaborate and adapt in dynamic development environments. These skills and qualifications ensure you can deliver robust, scalable software solutions and work efficiently across the entire development lifecycle.

What are some common challenges faced by full throttle sales representatives in the beverage industry, and how can they overcome them?

Full Throttle sales representatives often encounter challenges such as intense competition from other energy drink brands, securing prime shelf space in retail stores, and meeting ambitious sales targets. To overcome these obstacles, representatives need to build strong relationships with store managers, stay updated on market trends, and employ creative promotional strategies. Collaborating closely with marketing teams and regularly analyzing sales data can also help identify new opportunities and improve performance in the field.

Job description

Contract Marine Detailing Specialist

Saint Augustine, Florida • Independent Contractor (1099) • Flexible Schedule

The Opportunity

Full Throttle Marine delivers premium mobile marine service directly to boat owners' docks—and detailing is a core part of what makes us different. Our customers expect showroom-quality results delivered to their slip, without hauling their boat anywhere.

We're looking for a meticulous, experienced marine detailer who takes pride in results, works independently, and understands that a perfect finish on a boat is not optional—it's the only acceptable outcome.

You bring the skill. We bring the customers, the schedule, and the brand.

What You'll Deliver

Full Throttle Marine's Premium Detailing package is the standard on every job. No half measures. No skipped steps.

Exterior Services
  • Full exterior wash—hull, deck, and topsides
  • Clay bar treatment to remove embedded contamination
  • Machine polish to restore and enhance gelcoat/paint finish
  • Wax seal application for lasting UV and salt protection
  • Metal brightwork cleaning and polish
Interior Services
  • Full interior wipe-down and surface cleaning
  • Vinyl seat conditioning and UV protectant application
  • Glass and windshield treatment—streak-free, water-repellent finish
  • Bilge inspection wipe-down (cosmetic)
  • Final walk-through inspection and photo documentation

Every completed job includes a professional photo report delivered to the customer. That's the Full Throttle standard—documented, professional, on brand.

What You Bring Required Qualifications
  • Proven professional detailing experience—marine, automotive, or both
  • Hands-on proficiency with machine polishers (rotary and dual-action)
  • Experience with clay bar, compound, polish, and wax/sealant application
  • Knowledge of marine vinyl care, glass treatment, and surface-specific products
  • Own detailing equipment and supplies (or ability to supply)
  • Reliable transport to customer locations (marinas, docks, dry storage)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and consistent quality output
  • Valid driver's license and clean record
Preferred Skills
  • Prior marine detailing experience on fiberglass hulls and gelcoat surfaces
  • Familiarity with premium marine product lines (3M, Meguiar's Marine, Star Brite, Collinite, or similar)
  • Experience working in marina environments—dock etiquette, water safety
  • Ability to bundle detailing with scheduled mechanical service visits
  • Interest in expanding into additional marine service disciplines over time
What We Offer
  • Above-market compensation on flat-rate detailing tickets
  • High-value bundled jobs—detailing frequently paired with mechanical service calls, increasing ticket size and your per-visit earnings
  • Consistent, pre-booked work—no customer acquisition, no quoting wars
  • Flexible scheduling—you control your calendar
  • Full Throttle Marine brand, marketing, and booking infrastructure
  • Defined service territory—your market, your customers
  • Photo documentation workflow provided
  • Path to expanded work as the territory and service menu grow
Why Detailing Matters at Full Throttle Marine

For our customers, their boat is a significant investment—and its condition is a reflection of how they take care of their things. A great detail isn't just cosmetic. It's part of what they're buying when they choose Full Throttle.

We pair detailing with our mechanical service packages because the best visit we can make is one where the engine is running perfect and the hull is gleaming when we leave the dock. That's the experience. That's what they tell their friends about.

If you do work that makes a boat owner stop and stare before you leave—you're the right person for this role.
