This role must be filled at the client site 5 days per week in Cleveland, OH.
For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration-related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available
Looking for a Full Stack Java Lead Developer with 8 10 years of experience who can lead development efforts, provide technical guidance, and work effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing and architecting enterprise scale Java applications, developing scalable REST services, building modern React based user interfaces, and deploying solutions on containerized platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes. Candidates with experience in Banking, Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Risk Management, and large-scale data driven applications will be preferred.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience across all layers of application development, including backend services, frontend development, database design, CI/CD implementation, and cloud native deployments. The individual must be capable of developing reusable components, designing scalable solutions, implementing best practices, and mentoring team members. Strong communication skills and the ability to serve as a technical point of contact for applications are essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs, including authorization and security controls.
Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, Ag Grid, Axios, and Material UI.
Create and optimize database objects, queries, and data integration solutions using Oracle and other relational databases.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub, and Docker.
Deploy and support applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms using Helm Charts.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
Lead complex problem-solving activities and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines.
Support application performance tuning, troubleshooting, testing, and production implementations.
Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Act as a technical lead and single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned applications and initiatives.
