They design and build user interfaces, as well as develop server-side logic and manage databases. Full Stack Web Developers are proficient with a variety of programming languages and frameworks, allowing them to handle the complete development process from start to finish. Their broad skill set enables them to collaborate across different project stages and ensure seamless integration between client and server systems.

What does a full stack web developer do?

Full stack web developers develop the front end and back end of web applications. Your job duties include building web projects from scratch, testing and debugging software, and maintaining and improving existing web applications. AssetWatch serves global manufacturers by powering manufacturing uptime through the delivery of an unparalleled condition monitoring experience, with a passion to care about the assets our customers care for every day. We are a devoted and capable team that includes world-renowned engineers and distinguished business leaders, united by a common goal: to build the future of predictive maintenance. As we enter the next phase of rapid growth, we are seeking people to help lead the journey.

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be a senior, hands-on contributor on our mobile team, building and shaping our Flutter applications while staying fluent across the services that power them. The mobile experience supports field technicians, customer teams, and operational workflows where reliability, clarity, and offline/real-world constraints matter. You will spend the bulk of your time in Flutter and Dart, building the applications at the core of our product, while working as a comfortable full-stack engineer across the rest of the stack. That means collaborating closely with backend engineers on the shared REST and GraphQL APIs our mobile and web clients depend on, and helping shape the architecture and contracts behind them as we invest in that layer. You set a strong architectural direction and you stay in the code.

This role suits a product-minded engineer who can move quickly from a rough idea to a working prototype alongside product and design, then carry that prototype through to a sound, well-architected feature with cross-platform impact and the end user in mind. You should be experienced with agentic, AI-assisted development and confident directing it; our team uses Claude Code, Codex, skills, and MCP integrations every day for building, support, and documentation. We are looking for someone who can help the team innovate with these tools while grounding that work in engineering experience and proven best practices, including authoring the skills and workflows that make the whole team faster.

What's the Opportunity
  • Build, test, and ship high-quality Flutter applications across iOS and Android
  • Help shape mobile architecture and establish the patterns and standards the team builds on, while staying hands-on in the codebase
  • Collaborate with backend engineers on shared REST and GraphQL APIs; weigh in on contracts and data-flow decisions, and go hands-on with lightweight contributions when the situation calls for it.
  • Partner with product and design to prototype ideas rapidly, then turn validated prototypes into durable, maintainable features
  • Bring a product engineering mindset and an end-user focus to every feature, considering cross-platform impact from the start
  • Use and direct AI-assisted development with Claude Code, skills, and MCP day to day; author skills and workflows that raise the team's velocity and quality
  • Work effectively across multiple product areas, maintaining context and technical consistency as mobile priorities evolve
  • Contribute to code reviews and to the technical growth and mentorship of the engineers around you
  • Support customers and field technicians directly by troubleshooting code and resolving issues end to end, using tools like Sentry and Datadog to trace problems across the stack and drive root cause analysis on the hard ones.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with strong, demonstrated expertise in Flutter/Dart and comfort working full-stack across backend services and APIs
  • Strong software architecture and design skills, paired with a clear willingness to stay hands-on in the code
  • Demonstrated experience consuming and collaborating on REST and GraphQL APIs, and comfort discussing backend design, data models, and service contracts with backend engineers
  • A product engineering mindset: able to prototype quickly with product and design, then deliver a sound, well-built feature
  • Hands-on experience directing agentic coding tools and using agentic workflows as a force multiplier while maintaining ownership of technical decisions
  • Strong debugging and performance-optimization skills, with hands-on experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog, or similar to diagnose and resolve production issues
  • Strong context-switching skills and the ability to stay effective across several concurrent projects and teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and present to stakeholders
  • A track record of mentoring engineers and improving the teams you are part of
Nice to Have
  • Experience authoring AI skills, building MCP integrations, or designing agentic development workflows
  • AWS experience (AppSync, Lambda, Cognito) with direct backend collaboration
  • Backend development experience, particularly with TypeScript services (Hono, Zod, OpenAPI) or comparable stacks
  • Expert-level experience with the BLoC pattern and advanced state management
  • Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design, and similar enterprise-grade patterns
  • Local-first and offline data experience (Drift, SQLite, or similar)
  • Native platform experience (iOS, Android) for platform channel and debugging work
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or custom automation
  • IoT and Bluetooth integration experience for industrial or manufacturing device connectivity
