Interns typically work with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Node.js. The role involves collaborating with teams to build, test, and maintain web applications, allowing interns to develop coding skills and understand the software development lifecycle. This internship is a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in real-world projects and prepare for a career as a full stack developer.

As a Full Stack Web Developer Intern, you can expect to work on a variety of projects that span both front-end and back-end development. This often includes building or improving features for web applications, debugging code, writing unit tests, and collaborating with designers and other developers to deliver user-friendly products. You may also participate in code reviews, assist with database integration, and learn about deployment processes. These experiences give you a comprehensive view of the software development lifecycle and prepare you for more advanced roles in the future.

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain corporate portals, business applications, and API integrations. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end and back-end engineering skills with a modern, AI-augmented development workflow, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality, security, or maintainability. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can operate across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and coding through deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain corporate portals and business applications to meet evolving organizational needs.

• Maintain and continuously upgrade corporate user interfaces (UI) and backend systems for performance, scalability, and usability.

• Build, maintain, and expand API web services supporting Document Management System (DMS) integrations and other enterprise systems.

• Uphold and enforce coding standards across HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON and others as necessary.

• Provision, configure, and maintain development, staging, and production environments.

• Maintain source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control best practices.

• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, frequent, and automated deployments.

• Basic understanding of prompt engineering and integrating AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) into applications is a plus.

• Experience with Identity Management (IDM) platforms such as AWS Cognito, Okta, or Auth0 is preferred.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).

• Exposure to GraphQL API development.

• Understanding of application observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, ELK stack).

• Awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).

Core Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

• Adaptability and continuous-learning mindset in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required).

• 3+ years of professional Full Stack software development experience Work Environment
