Within LM Space, the Space Security Key area is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer, who's willing to work in the office on a small team of high performing software engineers. The Conductor program is developing a planning tool in a virtual cloud environment. The qualified candidate should have a broad engineering skillset and background in software development and the full software development lifecycle.
As a member of the software scrum team, you'll be contributing to implementing the software features to maintain the existing software and add additional features, and the work will include areas such as creating new endpoints, developing mission code, and creating user interfaces. Utilizing software development best practices, such as modern web frameworks, GitLab pipelines, and automated unit test, you will work together to provide a system that meets enterprise milestones.
This new role provides the opportunity to be a part of the entire software engineering lifecycle, where the candidate will be able to apply their skills at the lowest level all the way up through full system functionality. Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
