Job description

Location: Austin, United States
Hybrid Full-time
Compensation: $180K - $225K
Our client is building the foundational infrastructure to bring modern financial settlement into the 21st century. Current global settlement frameworks waste billions in trapped capital and operational inefficiency, forcing institutions to maintain massive reserves, limiting market liquidity, and creating systemic risk. Backed by $40M in funding from top-tier venture capital firms including Electric Capital and Paradigm, the organization bridges the best of Wall Street and decentralized technology to reimagine the systems underpinning the global financial sector.
The engineering team is seeking a talented Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript) to build beautiful, performant front-ends and translate complex financial logic into robust code. Joining a lean, elite engineering team, the successful candidate will turn intricate workflows into sleek applications that delight institutional users, while maintaining rigorous standards for security and systems robustness. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with industry pioneers and deeply explore new areas of the financial system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Front-End Development: Design and build high-performing, aesthetically exceptional front-end applications tailored for institutional financial clients.
  • Logic Translation: Partner with product teams to translate complex financial logic and workflows into scalable, production-grade code.
  • Systems Hardening: Ensure all code meets rigorous institutional standards for technical security, reliability, and robustness.
  • Product Exploration: Deep-dive into new areas of the global financial system alongside industry experts to help shape and iterate on future product offerings.
  • Architecture & Culture: Contribute actively to shaping the technical architecture, product roadmap, and foundational engineering culture.

Requirements
  • Proven Delivery Track Record: Demonstrated experience taking major features or entire products from initial concept to production, maintaining full lifecycle ownership of significant technical projects.
  • Full-Stack TypeScript Expertise: Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both front-end and back-end environments (prior blockchain development experience is not required).
  • AI-Assisted Workflows: High fluency with modern AI coding tools, possessing a demonstrated ability to leverage these tools effectively to accelerate development cycles.
  • Data Grid Experience: Experience working with complex data layouts; familiarity with AG Grid or similar data grid libraries is highly advantageous.
  • Startup Agility: An adaptable, self-directed mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity, ideally developed through prior experience in early-stage startup environments.

Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: $180,000-$225,000 base salary plus equity, with final packaging scaled to prior experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Premium medical, dental, and vision healthcare plans.
  • Financial Security: 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy and additional standard benefits.
  • High-Impact Environment: Immediate visibility and ownership in a well-funded, high-growth environment, working alongside an elite technical team with backgrounds from Circle, Amazon, Bloomberg, Kraken, and NEBRA.

Interview Process
  1. Initial Hiring Manager Interview (30 Minutes): A discussion focused on professional background and technical experience.
  2. Recruitment Assessment (30 Minutes): A conversation focused on the role scope, organization stage, and values alignment.
  3. Technical Interview: A hands-on technical session, ideally conducted in-person at the Austin, TX office. Full details will be provided prior to this stage.
  4. Final Leadership Interview (30 Minutes): A final leadership alignment discussion prior to offer consideration.
