Job description

Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Backend / Python / Django / React

Stelvio is supporting a fast-growing, product-led technology company that is looking to hire several Senior Full-Stack Engineers.

These are fully remote roles with occasional travel to Austin required.

This is a backend-leaning full-stack position, so we're especially keen to speak with engineers who have genuine commercial experience building production applications with extensive Python and Django.

The team is looking for someone who has actively built, maintained, and scaled real Django-based systems.

The core technical experience we’re looking for includes:

  • Strong Python engineering experience
  • Commercial Django experience
  • Django REST Framework
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST API design and development
  • React and TypeScript
  • Celery, Redis, queues, or background processing
  • AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and production deployment experience
  • SaaS or product engineering experience

The ideal person will be comfortable owning features across the full stack, from database models and API design through to customer-facing React/TypeScript interfaces.

You should be someone who enjoys working on real product problems, building clean backend systems, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and taking ownership beyond just writing tickets.

This is a full-time position, fully remote across the U.S.
