Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to various projects within our organization. As an Aircraft Scheduler, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios, working alongside experienced Project Managers in the field. This position will provide exposure to a range of primarily data related industrial engineering tasks, including schedule construction, analysis and updating, data analysis, process optimization, and more.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop detailed aircraft production schedules using MS Project Serverย 
  • Proactively manage schedules to ensure they reflect accurate sequence, milestones, resource allocation, durations, and dependencies
  • Assist in developing schedule recovery plans, and modeling "what if" scenarios
  • Work with the Project Team to identify schedule constraints and proposed solutions
  • Maintain and enhance our current reporting system to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Identify areas with potential for process improvement, suggesting solutions to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Programs team to identify challenges to cost and schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation of Programmatic reports and the maintenance of project documentation
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing projects, implementing methodologies like 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
What You Will Bring:
  • Graduate of Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering or Computer Science field
  • Co-Op Experience, or employment experience in data analysis or scheduling considered an asset
  • Strength in SQL, DAX, and other programming languages is critical to successย 
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis considered an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of performance reporting.
  • Strong technical skills are required.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Motivated, organized Individual with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices (Six Sigma, Lean, 5S) skills considered an asset.
