We are seeking a full time diesel mechanic to join our team! HTM Contractors, Inc., a leading service contractor in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a skilled Mechanic specializing in Heavy Equipment and Diesel Engines. We are a diversified company offering services in tree service, junk removal, roll-off dumpster rental, environmental cleaning, and street sweeping. Our team members are proud of the work we do in an exciting, high-performance culture.
Pay & Schedule:

  • $35 per hour
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
  • Weekly Pay

The Work:

  • Performing the diagnosis & repair of company-owned assets
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Performing the scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and/or services on company-owned assets
  • Tire repair & replacement
  • Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and safety
  • Repair automobiles, trucks, excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, cranes, wood chippers, and other tools and equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the trucks and equipment to be in use


Requirements:

  • Valid driver license
  • Clean abstract
  • Must have own tools
  • Previous experience with diesel engine diagnostics-repair & maintenance, hydraulic diagnostics-repair & maintenance
  • Additional experience is a plus in the following:
  • Gasoline diagnostics-repair & maintenance
  • Small engine diagnostics-repair & maintenance
  • Equipment operation
  • Electrical
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
