Job description

The Order Fulfillment Representative for Polytex and StarPak will work as a liaison between the Inside Sales/Account Managers, and the Graphics and Technical teams. This position reports to the Senior Order Fulfillment Manager. The Order Fulfillment Representative will utilize their communication and analytical skills to manage customer orders for new items and items with changes and see them through to completion. They will leverage the EFI Radius ERP system for creating master estimates and job estimates. They will work with the graphics, technical, and scheduling teams to ensure customer needs and internal commitments are met. This individual must be collaborative, good with people, and effective with computers.

DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Good Housekeeping practices in all activities.
  • Manage orders for trials, tech jobs, new items, and run with changes. โ€œDevelopment Itemsโ€. Including die line, graphics, structures, estimates, job scheduling, and shipping.
  • Creates master estimates and job estimates, working with the pricing team and production team to ensure estimates are as accurate as possible.
  • Updating after production runs, if necessary.
  • Creates jobs for โ€œdevelopment itemsโ€ and ensure they successfully make it onto production schedules.
  • Monitor KPIโ€™s to track order progress and push for On-Time availability and shipments.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders including account managers, inside sales, graphics, technical team, scheduling, and ops leadership to ensure successful production of items by the โ€œhave-ready" date.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in a collaborative role, working effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales, production, and technical departments.
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)systems for order entry, inventory management, and reporting.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a inside sales, customer service, or order fulfillment role, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and carrying.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed primarily performed in an office setting, but may require occasional visit on the manufacturing floor, which may involve exposure to loud noises, machinery, high temperatures and chemicals.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
