Job description

Warehouse Fulfillment Associate

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will primarily focus on the fulfillment of textbook orders in a timely and efficient manner. The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will process invoices daily, to include Personify order entry, textbook selection, shipping material selection, packaging, and shipment in the timeframe specified. The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate is expected to work 37.5 hours per week.

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will receive and inspect all incoming shipments of textbooks, stock textbooks in designated locations, and maintain an accurate inventory at all times. The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will work closely with the Director of Assessment & Textbook Fulfillment to organize the fulfillment warehouse in a manner that optimizes efficiency and safety. Additionally, the Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will assist with order and data entry of GYN Proficiency Testing (PT) and assessment products, providing customer service phone coverage, and maintaining customer files.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, package and ship textbook orders accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Organize textbook stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect incoming textbooks for defects and damages
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Organize fulfillment warehouse space
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Check, verify and fill customer invoices
  • Contribute ideas to improve or optimize fulfillment procedures
  • Keep fulfillment warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Assist with data entry responsibilities, as needed
  • Assist with order entry of GYN PT and assessment products, as needed
  • Maintain customer information in databases
  • Process customer requests and response forms
  • Print/mail product-related reports
  • Provide customer service phone coverage, as needed

Typical Working Conditions:

The incumbent works indoors in a climate controlled office on the day shift with frequent staff and vendor contact.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Two years of related experience.
  • Special Training/Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills. PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point). Possess the ability to manage and compile data. Must possess the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to ambulate throughout office/warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
