Job description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Alternative Fuel Operator to support LNG/CNG fueling operations and maintenance in the oilfield services industry.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of oilfield fueling or frac experience, with strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills. This position requires someone who can troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, perform preventive maintenance, work independently in remote locations, and maintain a strong focus on safety while working extended shifts and in extreme weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on LNG/CNG equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
  • Maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications, SCR standards, and applicable guidelines.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on frac fleet engines and related equipment.
  • Complete required work orders and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all SCR safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Work independently in remote locations for extended periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • 2+ years of oilfield fueling or frac experience.
  • Must obtain the Railroad Commission of Texas LNG/CNG certificate within 30 days of employment.
  • Must live within 60 miles of the office location.
  • General knowledge of frac fleet engines.
  • Working knowledge of LNG/CNG, electrical, electronic, and diagnostic systems.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and overnight travel as needed.
  • Ability to work 12-18 hour shifts and in extreme weather conditions.
  • Must communicate effectively in English.
