Summary
The Distribution Center Worker maintains effective and open communication with internal and external customers and provides daily and weekly delivery and pickup of supplies and materials to and from all Head Start sites and administrative offices. The Distribution Center Worker also maintains an accurate and updated inventory system for all supplies, materials, and equipment that are received, delivered, and stored at the distribution center.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Degree in warehouse management (preferred)
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Experience in warehouse setup and organization
  • Computer literacy in inventory control systems
  • Ability to work continuously with figures with a high degree of accuracy
  • Forklift operator certification (preferred)
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet programmatic goals
  • Any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience as determined by the Executive Director
