Compensation (DOE):

  • Rad Tech: $28.04 - $46.67hr
  • Lead Rad Tech: $30.81 - $51.31hr
  • Lead Rad Mammographer: $37.94 - $60.16hr

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology 
  • CMRT-Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by TDH or TMB 
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) & (CT) OR 1 year radiologic technologist exp within 12 months
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support 

Responsibilities:

  • Explain procedures to patient prior to & during exam imaging
  • Perform complex procedures including age-related criteria & developmental considerations
  • Process & manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technical adjustments, or repeat procedures as needed
  • Send and transfer images to PACS
  • Assess patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions
  • Operate, care for & maintain equipment
  • Prepare room for exam (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)
  • Administer contrast media & other medications
  • Maintain equipment & room sanitary standards between patients (injectors, table tops, floors)
