Job Description:

The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating construction activities and performing quality inspections of the placement of aerial, buried and underground fiber optics cable, conduit, grounding and bonding inspections, hand hole, pedestal and aerial terminal placement, documentation, and ensuring the adherence to standards and established procedures.

Required qualifications:

-Motivated self-starter with a passion and drive to start and complete projects

-Experience and understanding of telecommunications outside plant construction techniques

-Knowledge of buried, aerial and UG cable facilities

-Knowledge of Cable Splicing, Cable Maintenance, OSP Fiber/Copper Cable Placement

-Design or Construction experience with OSP including Fiber To the Premise (FTTP) deployments. Experience should include aerial and underground cable systems, splicing, testing, termination, and cable placement.

-Ability to Develop and provide reports on conditions found, take photos, document discrepancies and recommended fix actions where applicable

-Ability to verify work was completed per applicable guidelines and standards
