About the role:

Weโ€™re looking for an experienced and passionate Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Site Manager to lead and elevate our food safety and quality programs across a growing portfolio of unique food brands. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing and continuously improving the systems that ensure our products are safe, consistent, and of the highest quality.

As the FSQA Site Manager, you will be driving compliance, championing quality assurance best practices, and collaborating closely with operations, R&D, and brand teams to support innovation without compromising safety or integrity. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to work across diverse product lines, each with their own character, but all united by a shared commitment to excellence and craft.

Youโ€™ll get to:

  • Develop and implement food safety programs
  • Maintain documentation regarding HACCP, GMP, SOP, and employee training
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure food quality standards, food safety guidelines, legal requirements, and customer expectations are met
  • Support and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs, and legality
  • Collaborate with other supervisors/managers to coordinate activities of individual departments including production to identify, solve and prevent problems affecting quality of product.
  • Set up quality assurance systems for proper certification
  • Consult with Sr. FSQA manager to resolve quality, production, and efficiency problems
  • Inspect, test or measure product for conformance to specification. Testing of Physical and Chemical properties of the product
  • Lab equipment experience including calibration and verification
  • Conduct audits and inspections
  • Investigate food safety concerns
  • Perform internal and external plant audits to identify any non-conformance

Must-haves:

  • 2-5 years of Quality Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree, in Food Science or equivalent
  • Proficient at Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Math skills (algebra, geometry, statistics)
  • Willingness to spend time in a manufacturing environment which requires wearing personal protective equipment, food safety approved attire and following GMP guidelines


How you differentiate yourself:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing policies and interacting with auditors
  • Experience preparing for and leading third-party and regulatory audits (SQF, FDA, USDA, state/local departments)
  • Proven ability to align FSQA programs with broader brand integrity, labeling, and clean-label initiatives
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, especially with operations, R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams
