About the role:
As a ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) Solution Architect, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable ServiceNow FSM solutions that optimize field operations, asset management, and service delivery for enterprise clients. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow Consulting Practice and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and technology teams to drive digital transformation and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) solutions to support complex business and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and product owners to define solution roadmaps, requirements, and implementation strategies.
  • Design end-to-end FSM capabilities including work order management, scheduling and dispatch, inventory management, asset management, contractor portals, mobile experiences, and self-service portals.
  • Architect integrations between ServiceNow FSM and enterprise applications, including ERP, vendor, supplier, and third-party systems.
  • Translate complex business processes and requirements into scalable, sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Develop technical blueprints, architecture documentation, integration designs, and data mapping specifications.
  • Partner with development, testing, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and adherence to ServiceNow best practices.
  • Lead architecture workshops, technical design reviews, and stakeholder discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and govern technical standards, solution quality, and platform scalability across engagements.
  • Mentor developers and consultants while providing technical leadership and guidance.

What you need to have to be considered:
  • 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, solution design, and architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) solutions.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Field Service Management (CIS-FSM) certification.
  • Experience leading discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations, including API-based, middleware, and enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience creating technical architecture documentation, integration specifications, and data mapping artifacts.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and consulting skills.

These will help you stand out:
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow FSM with ERP platforms such as Oracle EBS, SAP, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in mobile workforce management, dispatch optimization, and field operations transformation.
  • Experience designing contractor, supplier, or partner-facing ServiceNow portals.
  • Knowledge of asset management, inventory management, and service operations best practices.
  • Experience mentoring technical teams and leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and digital transformation strategies.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $120,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
