Position Title: Deputy Director, Operations

Work Arrangement: On-Site

Position Summary:

As the Deputy Director, Operations this position will be responsible for the management of specific Operations duties including overseeing and managing Production, Stores (Shipping, Receiving, Inv Management), site Security, Facilities, health and Safety, and Maintenance. In addition, this position will have responsibility for the CUAS FieldService Engineers (FSE) , Field Applications Engineers (FAE), demonstration and training planning / scheduling, management of the demo pool equipment assets, and supporting business development on customer visits.

Required Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the various roles related to Operations including Production, Stores (Shipping, Receiving, Inv Management), Site Security, Facilities, and Maintenance.
  • Manage the various roles related to conducting NPI validation with Product Management, demo pool schedule and assets, Application Engineering team, and Field Service Engineers.
  • Coordinate personnel staffing including training, customer demos, acceptance testing/validation, and software testing/QA.
  • Develop maintenance plans for systems and infrastructure including equipment, vehicles, trailers, generators, etc), and the ADP test facility (SageWorks).
  • Manage the development of training materials for C-UAS / DefenseOS Operators and associated products.
  • As required, coordinate, gather, test, validate and arrange transportation of equipment and assets for demos or trade shows.
IRAD and Internal Development
  • Help shape direction of technology by working with engineering to Identify areas of our software/hardware that need attention, refinement, updates, etc
  • Identify current and emerging technologies we may want to integrate as part of our layered solutions.
  • Provide SME support for all facets of program/NPI execution.
  • System installation execution, support and troubleshooting, execute customer on-site maintenance visits for evaluation and resolution as per contract agreements.
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in various aspects of Operations management.
  • Creating and managing detailed asset tracking/scheduling systems, including preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Managing of personnel for supporting Business Development by conducting demo’s, customer visits, & training.
  • Support engineering and Product management with validation testing, providing customer input/feedback, recommending upgrades/features, and performance improvements.
  • Recommending and generating various KPI performance metric
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Data mining and generation within MS Excel.
  • Communication skills through conducting Teams meetings, email dialog, presentation tools, and ability to present to executive management.
  • Attention to details in reporting, metrics, tasks, etc.
Education
  • BS in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and/or equivalent experience.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Salary:$131,000 - $150,000 annually

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
