$20,000 Sign on bonus eligible (with 2-year commitment)

Join our weekend team of Intake Nurses!

The primary responsibility is to review clinical documentation from referrals and accept patients.

This is fast paced environment where ability to gather information and make a determination in less than 15 minutes is standard.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we are looking for

License: Current Registered Nurse to practice/work in the state of NC

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • Handle With Care certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • One (1) Year of Psych experience required
  • One (1) year of Intake experience preferred but not required
