Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage account-based marketing campaigns targeting decision-makers in specified segments.

  • Track and analyze campaign performance, including engagement, meetings booked, and pipeline growth, and report findings to leadership.

  • Manage Fruition's website, content, and paid media campaigns to promote Fruition's brand and products.

Job description

Fruition is seeking an independent Growth Marketing Strategist (1099) to execute account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns that open new client relationships in the segments Fruition is pursuing next, starting with aviation, healthcare, and transportation. These are fixed, nameable markets. Target accounts can be identified, tracked, and worked on individually, and the engagement builds on real momentum: Fruition is already the technical partner for five major North American airports. This is a part-time independent contractor engagement, estimated at up to 20 hours per week.

The work involves both hands-on campaign execution and strategic input: the contractor will build and run targeted campaigns day-to-day while advising on Fruition's go-to-market approach in each segment. The ideal contractor is analytically sharp and competitive, fluent in B2B and considered-purchase marketing, energized by long sales cycles and named-account work, and able to operate independently with clear direction from Fruition's leadership.

Scope of Work1. Growth Strategy & Campaign Execution
  • Develop the go-to-market playbook for each target segment as directed by leadership: who the buyers are, what they care about, which offers open the door, and which channels reach them.
  • Build, launch, and manage account-based campaigns against tiered, named-account lists provided by Fruition, aimed at the decision-makers who choose vendors, not broad awareness audiences.
  • Execute the B2B toolkit as assigned: LinkedIn campaigns, paid search, email nurture, content, direct mail, and conference marketing, matched to where each segment pays attention.
  • Package Fruition's entry point offers into campaigns that start client relationships before a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) exists.
  • Produce the campaign assets that convert: landing pages, lead magnets, demos, and outreach sequences, built with Fruition's design and development teams.
  • Track buying signals, leadership changes, capital plans, compliance deadlines, and platform end-of-life announcements, and time outreach so Fruition shows up when an account is ready to move.
  • Set measurable goals before each campaign launches as agreed with leadership, manage the assigned budget, and optimize based on results.
2. Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Track the numbers that matter: engagement by target account, meetings booked, opportunities created, cost per opportunity, and pipeline growth by segment.
  • Measure success on meetings booked and pipeline created, not impressions or clicks.
  • Report to the leadership team monthly and quarterly on campaign performance with an honest read: what's working, what's not, and where to shift spend for the best return on investment (ROI).
  • Research market trends, benchmarks, and the competitive landscape in each segment to sharpen positioning and win strategy.
  • Confirm campaigns have proper tracking in place through Google Analytics and customer relationship management (CRM) reporting. (GA certification is a plus.)
3. Fruition Brand & Product Marketing
  • Manage Fruition's website and content calendar as directed: publish the blogs, press releases, and pieces that market Fruition's brand and products, drawing on the expertise of the team.
  • Execute search engine optimization (SEO) across the site, and rework landing pages so Fruition's products are easy to find and easy to act on.
  • Run paid media campaigns that put Fruition's brand and products in front of target buyers.
  • Coordinate Fruition's conference program: build the marketing plan around the events the team attends, understand who will be in the room, and run the campaigns before, during, and after that turn attendance into meetings.
Compensation
  • $40-60/hour or open to retainer, hourly rate commensurate with experience, skills, education, and/or training.
