Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Brew Crew is seeking a Cafe Service Technician to maintain the facilities and equipment inside of our cafes.The Cafe Service Technician is acritical part of our facilities department which maintains our "Simply the BestCafes" enabling them to deliver Total Quality Experience. This role isresponsible for maintaining the equipment and facilities in our Cafes. Thisposition will report directly to the Facilities Asset Manager as part of theFacilities Team. Geographic areas of responsibility include Long Beach, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego areas.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will install,maintain,and repair espresso equipment, grinders, brewers, and water filtration systems,and other in-cafe equipment to ensureoptimalperformance. You willdiagnose mechanical/electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and guideteam members on equipment care. Key requirements includetechnicalproficiency, strong customer service skills,andorganization. Further details:

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair:Perform preventivemaintenance and emergency repairs on espresso machines, grinders,refrigeration, bake cases, RO systems, and brewing equipment.
• Installation:Install, calibrate, and test new equipment.
• Repair & Troubleshooting:Diagnosing and repairingfaulty components (pumps, boilers, heating elements) on-site
• Customer Support:Provide technical support and training tobaristas on proper equipment usage and cleaning.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of servicevisits, repairs, and parts usage.
• Rotating On Call: Available to accept emergency calls or workorders on rotating weeks as needed.
• This role will work with Operations,Development, Construction, and Design.
• Work closely with equipmentvendors and 3rd party service vendors.

YourIngredients

Theright Cafe Service Technician comes with experience working in fast-paced guestcentric environments. Visits usually occur during operating hours and in andaround team members and guests. The ability to communicate well and be a brandbuilder is a critical element of the role.

• Minimum of 3 years working in a cafefacilities role is required.
• Experience working with Eversys, Simonelli, Fetco, Curtis, andMazzer is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to readschematics.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 50lbs and work in tightspaces.
• Valid driver's license witha clean record.
• Will involve working weekends, early mornings, or on-callshifts.
• Frequent lifting of equipment (up to 50+ lbs) and standing forlong periods of time.
• Excellent customer service andcommunication skills.

This is a Field based position: This role will visit Cafesthroughout the week with occasional meetings at our Support Center in LosAngeles.Geographic areas of responsibility include Long Beach, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego areas.This role will also visit our Roasting Facility in Camarillo for partsand equipment storage.
