Job description

Diamond Lake RV Resort General Manager Lead a resort. Build a legacy.

Diamond Lake Resort is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for an experienced campground leader to help shape its future.

Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, Diamond Lake has been welcoming families for generations. Significant investments have already been made in lodging, equipment, and infrastructure, and we're looking for a General Manager who is excited to build on that momentum.

This isn't the right role for someone looking for an easy operation. It is the right role for someone who enjoys developing people, improving operations, solving complex challenges, and making a lasting impact.

Your Mission

Lead the continued transformation of Diamond Lake Resort by developing an exceptional team, creating memorable guest experiences, stewarding the property's continued infrastructure improvements, and delivering outstanding financial performance.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all campground operations, including guest services, maintenance, housekeeping, and lodging.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong online reviews.
  • Own the property's financial performance, including labor and operating expenses.
  • Lead ongoing infrastructure and capital improvement projects while minimizing disruption to guests.
  • Partner with Home Office to continuously improve the property and business.
What We're Looking For

Required

  • General Manager (or equivalent senior leadership) experience managing a campground & RV resort.
  • Experience leading cross-functional operations and developing teams.
  • Strong financial and operational leadership experience.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems and improving systems.

You'll Thrive Here If You

  • Love building teams.
  • Enjoy improving properties and tackling operational challenges.
  • Think like an owner.
  • Lead with humility, accountability, and hospitality.
Why Team Outsider?

Our Mission: To be the most hospitable team in the world.

Our Core Values:

  • We put our team first: We believe that the most important hospitality we extend is to our team members. The way we treat one another sets the tone for how we treat everyone.
  • We make them say "WOW!": We are determined to "WOW!" our team members, guests, communities, and our partners with every interaction.
  • We express gratitude: We appreciate that our team members and guests have many options for where to spend their time. We are committed to exemplifying that they've made the right decision.
  • We get better every day: We’re always growing, learning, and ready to drive change. When we stumble, we admit fault and get back on our feet. We are in the constant pursuit of excellence.
  • We are steadfastly resourceful: We do more with less and will do everything it takes to overcome a challenge.
  • We give back: We strive to leave the biggest positive impact on the communities where we operate. Their success is our success, and we want to see them win.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus
  • On-site housing
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Annual complimentary vacation after one year

If you've successfully led a campground & RV resort and are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Diamond Lake)
