What is a frontend developer?

Frontend developers are professionals who build and maintain the user-facing parts of websites and web applications. They use languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create interactive and visually appealing interfaces that users interact with directly. Frontend developers work closely with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless user experiences across different devices and browsers. Their responsibilities also include optimizing performance, ensuring accessibility, and keeping up with evolving web technologies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a frontend developer?

To thrive as a Frontend Developer, you need strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular, typically supported by a degree in computer science or related experience. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), UI/UX design tools, and responsive web development practices is also essential.
