Job description

The Front-End Manager will supervise all front-end staff and perform administrative tasks assigned by the store manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily workflow of the front-end staff. Schedules staff to ensure efficient customer service.
· Lead the store in all corporate assigned programs and policies.
· Recommends discipline and termination of employees by partnering with their Store Management as needed and in accordance with policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences; resolves any customer service issues, complaints, or requests.
· Assist the store manager with the weekly workbook and other paperwork as assigned.
· Continually trains and supports front-end staff and cash office procedures.
· Responsible for all front-end ordering, stocking and merchandising.
· Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the front-end, bathrooms and parking lot.
· Ensures all front-end supplies and Ice are full.
· Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Exceptional customer service and managerial skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· At least one year of experience in a retail environment, preferably in customer service, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket.
