Job description

Front End Manager

Duties:

-Managing the daily activities of Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks in an effort to ensure compliance with all operating policies and procedures.

 - Work with Store Manager to maintain cash controls

-Maintain quality customer service on the front-end of the store by anticipating customer needs and addressing and resolving any customer issues that might arise.

-Responsible for Western Union sales and Compliance.

-Handling Voids

-Designate breaks for Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks and schedule for Store Inspections

-General Front Office work including but not limited to: pickup, retrieval and reconciliation of funds and coupons.

- Maintains and monitors retailer statements and credits. Calculates booked prices and maintains " Booking price book"(if required)

-Data entry and generating reports related to operations

-Orders and maintains tobacco and other specialized items

-Handling of returned checks

-Answer Store Phone

-Performs on-boarding of new hires and works with Store Manager to maintain employee files.

-Performs Cashier or Head Cashier Duties as needed

-At the time of any customer or worker comp accidents, be able to complete all forms.

-Other duties as assigned.

 Abilities: 

Excellent grasp of basic mathematics (counting, addition, subtraction). Organizational skills necessary to assign front end staff duties. Good communication, team leadership and customer service skills. Written communication sufficient to complete data entry and new hire on-boarding documents.

Physical Demands of Position: Able to lift 25 lbs work includes, standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
