Job description

Wage: $32.00-$34.00/hr.

The Front-End Developer is a team member of the ESGW IT Department. The individual designs, builds, and maintains web applications with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. This role owns UI design and styling end-to-end, contributes to selecting and standardizing on a front-end framework, and collaborates closely with teammates and stakeholders throughout development and shared deployment processes. The position helps establish clear, reusable front-end standards that support reliable delivery over time.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with co-workers.
  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • Applicant must pass DMV check.

Experience

  • ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or related field or,
  • ย Associate degree in computer science or related field and 2-3 years of experience in front-end development or,
  • 4+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Proven experience with:
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular).
    • Consuming APIs and web services.
    • Web technologies and frameworks
    • Version control.
    • Integrated development environments, code editors and build tools.
    • Engineering web applications.
    • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
