Description

PingWind is seeking a Front End Developer to build and deliver the user experience layer of a highly strategic, federally aligned supply chain resilience initiative. Reporting into engineering leadership, this individual will own dashboards, user experience, and visualization delivery within a live control-tower environment. This is a mission-critical role focused on transforming complex data into intuitive, decision-ready interfaces for operators, analysts, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
ย  ย Design and build intuitive dashboards that support real-time operational decision-making
ย  ย Own the user experience across control-tower workflows, ensuring clarity, usability, and performance
ย  ย Develop data visualizations that translate complex supply chain and risk data into actionable insights
ย  ย Partner with backend and platform engineers to integrate APIs and data services into front-end applications
ย  ย Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers and stakeholders to rapidly iterate on user-facing features
ย  ย Ensure responsiveness, performance, and reliability across all front-end components
ย  ย Establish front-end standards and best practices for UI/UX, component design, and visualization frameworks
ย  ย Support the evolution of executive, analyst, and operator views within the platform

Required Qualifications

ย  ย TS/SCI Eligible
ย  ย 3-8 years of experience in front-end development or related roles
ย  ย Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, or similar)
ย  ย Strong experience building modern front-end applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
ย  ย Experience developing data-rich dashboards and visualization tools
ย  ย Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
ย  ย Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end systems with backend services
ย  ย Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to translate complex data into intuitive interfaces
ย  ย Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven or mission-critical environments

Desired Qualifications

ย  ย Bachelor's Degree
ย  ย Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments is a plus
