- Ensures customers are receiving proper, efficient and friendly service by monitoring the work performance of subordinates, trains if necessary and correctly schedules.

- Develop programs to improve and maintain the proper efficient servicing of customers.
- Ensure that the store's activities comply with the rules/regulations of the various governmental and regulatory agencies.
- Address and review all controllable expenses in the Front-End.
- Ensure good communications is maintained between Front-End associates.
- Provide training guidance and counseling to Front-End associates.
- Enforce and ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Foster a harmonious positive environment.
- Provide a safe and sanitary environment for customers and associates.
- Take appropriate loss prevention measures.
Other Job Duties:
- Conduct floor checks and ensures adequately stocked shelves; products are merchandised properly and rotated.
- Recommend changes in procedures, house rules and work methods as necessary.
- Recognize and assist in the advancement of qualified associates.
- Conduct periodic competitor checks.

Physical Requirements:
- Requires standing for long periods (up to 3 hours without a break).

- Training in supervision and effective oral and written communications is essential.
- Basic computer skills not necessary but helpful.
