Job description

Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor leads and manages all front office operations including the front desk, switchboard, medical records, and managed care departments. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient patient flow, and compliance with clinic policies while supervising and training front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate front desk, switchboard, medical records, and managed care staff
  • Oversee patient registration, check-in, scheduling, and customer service standards
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and operational policies
  • Support patient flow and resolve patient concerns in coordination with clinic leadership
  • Manage daily administrative operations including mail, supplies, equipment, and reporting
  • Assist with quality improvement audits and performance reporting

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years ambulatory front office experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
