The responsibilities of the Front Office Manager include assisting in and overseeing the Front Office teams within our Rooms Division. Responsibilities include: staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. The Front Office Manager will promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction. This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests, and team members. The budgeted rate for this position starts at $66,100 per year. Actual pay will commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
-Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the hotel's Front Office operations
-Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans
-Maintain guest room inventory
- Perform all tasks of a Front Office Staff as needed to facilitate service
- Maintain information on prices, rates, specials, packages, programs, etc, while ensuring all staff are trained in all areas
- Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures
- Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt Service Standards and Procedures
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints
- Ensures proper staffing levels for customer service goals
- Assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed
- Work closely with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
