The Security Welcome Ambassador is the steward of the resort's arrival experience, managing the front gate with precision, discretion, and warmth. As the first point of contact, this role sets the tone for each guest's stay-delivering a gracious welcome while thoughtfully controlling access to ensure the privacy and security of all guests. This position requires a seamless blend of refined hospitality and unobtrusive security, where every interaction feels personal, composed, and effortless. Qualifications: * Experience in front gate security, luxury hospitality, or private residential access control preferred * Polished, professional communication style with strong interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to balance guest service with firm policy enforcement * High level of discretion and confidentiality * Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability * Familiarity with gate systems, radios, and access control technology Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Front Gate Operations & Arrival Management * Serve as the dedicated point of control for all vehicle and pedestrian entry at the front gate * Greet each arrival with a warm, composed, and personalized welcome * Confirm reservations, resident status, and approved visitor access prior to granting entry * Coordinate continuously with valet, front office, and guest services to ensure smooth arrivals * Manage traffic flow at the gate to maintain a calm, orderly, and unhurried environment Discreet Access Control & Property Protection * Enforce access protocols with professionalism, consistency, and subtlety * Screen vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with resort policies * Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest identity, presence, and movements * Exercise sound judgment in granting or denying access while preserving the guest experience * Remain vigilant to irregular activity and escalate concerns promptly and calmly Guest Interaction & Service Excellence * Anticipate needs by recognizing returning guests and preferences when possible * Provide clear, courteous directions and assistance without disrupting the arrival flow * Handle inquiries or sensitive situations with poise, empathy, and discretion * Ensure every interaction reflects understated luxury and genuine hospitality Communication & Documentation * Maintain accurate, real-time logs of visitors, vendors, and access activity * Communicate effectively via radio and internal systems with minimal guest disruption * Complete detailed incident reports as needed, maintaining professionalism and accuracy Gatehouse Presentation & Standards * Keep the gatehouse and immediate entry area immaculate and organized at all times * Uphold impeccable personal presentation and uniform standards * Ensure the gate environment reflects the aesthetic and calm of a luxury coastal resort Experience, Education, & Licensure: * Refined first impressions and arrival management * Discreet and effective access control * Emotional intelligence and composure * Attention to detail and situational awareness * Professional presence and reliability * Guard Card The pay scale for this position is between $24.00 and $26.00/hour.
