FR0NTIER COOPERATIVE's Nebraska City, NE location has an opening for a Customer Service Front Desk Office Clerk. The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of accounting practices and strong organizational skills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to our customers & employees, provide accounting support such as Invoicing, Billing, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Inventory Support & Data Entry, Processing Transfers, & other General Clerical work. An outstanding candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a knack for working with numbers. In this position, you are responsible for, including but not limited to, the following duties:
  • Greeting & assisting our walk-in customers, patrons, & employees.
  • Assisting customers as needed including helping with their orders, purchasing products, services, etc.
  • Answering phones & managing the front desk area.
  • Creating and issuing invoices to customers.
  • Processing credit memos.
  • Preparing account statements for customers.
  • Following up on outstanding payments and answering customer queries.
  • Monitoring all payments and preparing monthly billing reports & invoices.
  • Managing account balances and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports.
  • Updating accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact information.

To be successful, this candidate should have the following skills:
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards & relevant legal regulations & confidentiality guidelines.
  • Strong communication, organizational, & time-management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to be reliable & dependable with strong attention-to-detail.
  • Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience.
