This position is way more than just working the front desk. You are the first person our members see as they walk in the front door and it is your job to motivate, challenge, and inspire them every step of the way. Our workout changes lives in a matter of weeks but we can't make that change happen unless we sign someone up for a membership and as a focused, responsible team-player, you understand that crucial responsibility. You will work closely with a Studio Manager and Head Coach to hone your knowledge of the workout, perfect your sales skills, and close deals. As a motivated individual, however, you also seek out opportunities to learn more about our processes so that you can be the best version of you. We have fun with what we do so you like throwing events and generating ideas for social media. You also understand and are excited to partake in at least one Orangetheory workout a week because why else would you want to work at a gym?
Orangetheory is a fun, supportive, pay-for-performance environment! If you are selling memberships and engaging effectively with our OTF community, you will be successful in this role!
Here is more of what the position entails:
  • Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
  • Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as “intros”
  • Working at our front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks
  • Giving studio tours
  • Working hand-in-hand with Coaches to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
  • Selling memberships to help the studio thrive
  • Promoting fitness programs, challenges, and events
  • Handling members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
  • Ensuring the workout space, lobby, and restrooms are spotless and organized at all times
