Position: Residential Consultant/Front Desk Attendant
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Residential Consultant/Front Desk Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role divides time between front desk duties and leasing responsibilities.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all prospective and current residents, guests and vendors playing a crucial role in apartment rentals, move-ins, and resident relations. You will also assist in planning and participating in resident functions, ensuring a positive and engaging community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
  • Lead property tours, show vacant units, and market property amenities to close sales and maintain occupancy.
  • Handle all activities related to apartment rentals and move-ins, including qualifying prospects and preparing lease documentation.
  • Assist in planning and participating in resident functions and community events.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the market and facilitate prospect generation through effective advertising and follow-up.
  • Manage resident service requests and collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution.
  • Inspect models, vacancies, and community grounds to ensure cleanliness and report any service needs.
  • Assist in managing site social media platforms and maintain accurate resident records.
  • Complete lease applications, verify applications, and notify prospective residents of decisions.
  • Organize and file appropriate reports, leases, and paperwork.
Front Desk:
  • Greet and assist residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage resident and guest access to the building
  • Assist residents with on-site deliveries and package retrieval
  • Organize, log, and accept packages for residents and management office staff
  • Reserve amenity spaces and coordinate freight elevator scheduling for resident move-ins, move-outs, and deliveries
  • Enter resident maintenance requests and work orders into the property management system
  • Provide resident assistance during lockout situations by following established community procedures
  • Monitor building activity and report emergencies or unusual incidents to management immediately
  • Contact the management team and/or appropriate vendors in the event of emergencies, including elevator shutdowns, HVAC outages, or other building-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain clean, organized, and professional in appearance
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of sales/leasing experience preferred.
  • Previous front desk, concierge, hospitality, customer service or residential property experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/Yardi preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Real Estate License preferred.
