The Front Desk Representative is the face of the club and the first point of contact for our members and guests. You will deliver superior customer service by creating a welcoming environment, assisting with retail purchases, and ensuring everyone who walks through our doors feels the energy of the UFC GYM community.

 Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Hospitality

  • First Impressions: Warmly greet members and guests as they enter and leave the club, maintaining a professional and high-energy atmosphere.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls professionally, transferring them promptly to the correct department or individual.
  • Check-In & Registration: Verify memberships, enroll the members for classes, and check-in prospective members for the sales team.
  • Problem Solving: Address member questions directly or guide them to the appropriate lead for further assistance.
Sales & Administration

  • Retail Excellence: Sell supplements, apparel, and gear. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Club Upkeep: Keep the front desk and lobby area neat, clean, and organized.
  • Daily Operations: Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory or product pricing as needed.
  • Member Support: Call members regarding past-due accounts to help them maintain their active status.
Professional Standards

  • Reliability: Adhere to shift schedules, including all meal and rest break periods.
  • Engagement: Stay focused on member needs, avoiding non-work-related activities like personal cell phone use or internet surfing while on duty.
 Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or food service.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly personality, and the ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
  • Technical: Basic computer skills and experience handling multiple phone lines.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/AED certification is required for overnight staff.
  • Physical: Ability to stand for a full shift and occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
