CentraCare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Primary On-Call Registered Nurse to join our Home Health and Hospice team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for triaging incoming calls, assessing patient needs, making and delegating visits to provide appropriate care and documenting your findings with attention to detail. This position will have considerable autonomy, utilizing independent judgment to make sound decisions during scheduled on-call hours. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care in response to urgent needs.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 1.0 FTE working 7 days on followed by 7 days off

  • Primary on-call every other Monday – Sunday 4:30 pm – 8:00 am

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $88,940.80 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience

  • Salary range:   $88,940.80 - $133,494.40 per year

  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

  • $3,500 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

  • BSN or MSN preferred

  • Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card

  • Reliable transportation with a valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing and insurance liability coverage meeting CentraCare's standards

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care setting and at least one year of experience as a registered nurse

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
