About the role
Seeking a CAD Engineer to develop and design engineering documentation, including drawings, 3D models, and CAD modules/assemblies. This position requires experience in 3D Experience (CATIA V6) to create 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass production.
What you'll do
  • Manufacture prototype and production flat and curved Solar Panels; this involves lots of soldering, cutting, and cleaning.
  • Work in an ISO 8 Cleanroom Environment.
  • Run automated soldering and Solar Panel lamination equipment.
  • Manufacture wiring harnesses and connector assemblies.
  • Work with Engineers and R&D to develop new processes and streamline manufacturing.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency Soldering. Proficiency with handheld tools. Proficiency with automated/manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Extremely organized and clean when working.
  • Ability to work with delicate objects.
  • Willing to be diligent and precise with handheld work is important.
  • Willing to learn new techniques and technologies surrounding Solar testing and equipment.
  • Willing to be flexible in processes and day to day work.
  • Knowledge of / experience with Solar technologies and techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of / experience with composites and composite processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of / experience with Electronics Manufacturing is a plus.

Required Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

Educational Requirements
  • Technical certification and/or B.S. in mechanical engineering.
